Enfield 500cc

Classic 500 series is something different among bulls. These bulls runs on EFI system and NOT the Carburetur stuff. Its been talked that that the Current EFI systems are far more  efficient than the Older models.

Let me warn you If you are planning to take a 350cc Bullet NEVER EVER TEST DRIVE Classic 500... If you do so you would start expecting more from the 350cc. I had the same problem, just because of the financials I had to settle down for a 350CC.

The whole package is different The 500cc UCE Engine delivers Max power of  27.2 bhp @ 5250 rpm to make you the king of the road and The torque delivered makes you feel like an professional sprinter even though the bull is not meant for this. The max torque deliverd is 41.3 Nm @4000rpm, now thats what I was talking about, even though we should not talk about 0 to 60 on a bull, I just cant stop telling you that this bull will do it well under 5 seconds, you rev more and see the speedo reading 130kmph.

The 19" wheels at the front and the 18" at rear, would detail you the maneuverability this bull can provide and the smaller wheels at the rear will splendor the power and torque on roads or for that matter any terrain. The tyres 90/90 - 19 on the front wheel and 120/80 - 18 Round Profile on the rear wheel is not something I have never seen on a bull, the round profile does a decent work in cornerings, if you ask are the bulls made for cornering, I used to believe that It was not but this bull makes a difference and may be Royal Enfields are accomodating essential cornering needs to certain levels.... Well I surely welcome this quality on the bull..

Shell out anywhere between Rs. 1,60,000 to Rs.1,75,000 (approx range,Aprl 2012) for a 500cc on road in Chennai between the Variants Classic 500, Classic Chrome, Classic Desert Strom. The variants doesn't differ much on the technical front but are a world apart on Cosemtics....

Thunderbird 500 was launched earlier this year and I expected it to hit the showrooms by Third or Last quarter of the current year
